Dilemma...r6 KoABD or HoM
ok, I have a dilemma, should I spend all my funds and get full HoM or use funds to pursue r6 of KoABD? HoM has benefits to GW2 where as max r6 doesn't. full HoM is attainable, "GOD" is iffy.
welcoming all suggestions and comments. |

No point in wasting time grinding out all those titles. I'd say get your HoM sorted and gear up for GW2!

Personally I'd rather spend the cash on a bunch of skills, armor, and weapons rather than 1 title...

Armor is nicer to look at then titles, imo. R6 may give some benefit in Gw2 (remember the middle monument and how it changes as you get more ranks in KoaBD?) but I'd rather have the armor and weps.
Besides, you probably have enough time before Gw2 comes out to do both. |

IMO it really depends how many titles you have already. If say you have 29 and still need the sweet title, go ahead and go for r6 KoaBD. Also, i assume most of the funds are going to the destroyer weapons for HoM, just wait a little longer and their price is going to plummet even more. Onyx gemstones are rapidly becoming worthless, diamonds are already worthless (less or close to 1k at trader).

I agree with everyone else nice armor and weapons are better then grinding for titles.
But really what do people think of you when they see you with r5 or 6 KoADB.... Dunno I feel like that person plays 24/7 and does nothing other then grind titles. Not really a feeling of OMGZ Awesome! |

Go for both man thats what im doing. but a full hall first of course. then max you GOD title. Well when it comes down to it I will listen to the GOD over someone with no titles even if the other person was r9+. Considering everything you need to do to get the GOD title requires effort and thinking. And as for the 24/7 I dont play 24/7 I have a full time job and go to college and I'm almost at my GOD title. (and I do not have a labtop so I don't play at school) 10/30 are grind the rest require you to play the game. (this list is the Grind titles) SS/LB norn asura vanguard dwarf Drunk Sugar Lucky/unlucky<-more of a afk title then a Grind Last edited by IslandHermet; Dec 21, 2007 at 05:45 PM // 17:45.. |

id say go for the titles. you have 2-3 more years before its actually released, and the gold you get from just doing the titles will be enough to pay for the armor sets and destroyer weapons |

^see ShadowsRequiem if you were like me and this person who know what we are doing for the time we are on then getting the GOD title is very easy.
If you set objectives and Goals for the time you are on getting titles maxed is very simple but if you log on and have no clue what to do and are waiting for others to give you a hint then yes you do have to play 24/7 just because you have nothing you are really shooting for. |

It's the thought of Drunkard, Sweets, Wisdom and that faction title that kinda putting me off, so much time and money but 2-3 years is along time. thx again for all your replies, guess I have some thinking/planning out to do |

Why not just go for KoaBD, by getting all those titles you will also greatly improve your honor monument, and by vanquishing n all that u can earn money to spend on minipets / destoryer weps etc

I really doubt you need 30 titles to get an even greater bonus in GW2. (But I can’t give a guarantee) Thanks to this thread: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10233653
Currently I’m filling my Hall and it’s great, because you fell like you are accomplishing something. I don’t know if I would have the same patience, when a growing number in my title bar is the only thing I can look at + the seemingly endless grind ahead. So I say: Go for the complete hall. After you have done this, you can max out your titles at any time. And if you get bored, you can always stop. If you get bored after you have finished your hall … well at least you have finished something. You can’t have that feeling with a title you have not maxed out yet. |
